digiorgio restaurant is located in the heart of Azabujuban, and serves traditional and cherished Italian dishes in a relaxed setting. Giorgio takes inspiration from the history of Italian cuisine to create his dishes and gives them a modern twist; a sophisticated fusion of traditional and contemporary styling of Italian cuisine.

Giorgio uses Italian ingredients and has played a role in propagating Italian foods in Tokyo such as Burrata cheese, Olequiette pasta and the red wines Negro Amaro and Primitivo, from his native region of Puglia, which are both now widely acknowledged in Japan.

Founded on tradition, driven by creativity

We celebrate favourite traditional Italian dishes with a modern twist. We only use seasonal produce (in Japan and Italy), sourcing locally, where possible, to minimize our carbon footprint.

We do import specific products such as white truffles and porcini, from Italy. All pastas, breads, deserts and some of our liquors are made at the restaurant, using traditional methods from his hometown in Puglia, often using recipes passed down from generation to generation.

We can create menus for all occasions and events. Join us to celebrate your birthdays, weddings, corporate Christmas and New Year parties! Bookings are available for a minimum of 10 people up to the entire restaurant.
